Cannon Beach Properties
The main office is located at the Inn at Haystack Rock, 487 S. Hemlock St., Cannon Beach 97110 just south of downtown. As you come up the hill and past the Pig ‘n Pancake Restaurant the Inn will be on your left between Adams and Jefferson St.
The main office is located at the Gilbert Inn, 341 S. Beach Dr., Seaside 97138, just behind the Inn at the Prom on the corner of Ave A and Beach Dr.
Check in time is 3:00 pm. Check out time is 11:00 am. Guests arriving at the office prior to the check-in time are not likely to secure an early check-in. If you plan to arrive after regular business hours, we will make special arrangements for you to secure your keys. Please remember to come by our office the next morning to register. On your departure day, after leaving your rental room, please proceed directly to the check-in office to return your keys.
Upon check-in a guest must present a photo ID along with a valid Credit Card.
We require the 1st night’s rent plus tax as a deposit. The balance will be due upon arrival.
We have four different seasonal rates, please see rates and minimum nights required within each property rate schedule.

1. During the Low and Mid seasons we require 72 hrs notice of cancellation prior to your arrival date, and we refund your deposit minus a $25 cancellation fee per room cancelled. If we receive less than 72 hours notice of cancellation, there is no refund.
2. During Peak and Holiday seasons we require one week’s notice of cancellation, and we refund your deposit minus a $25.00 fee per room cancelled. If less than one week’s notice of cancellation, there is no refund.
We regret we are unable to refund trips paid in full for any reason. Therefore we highly recommend guests accept the travel insurance offered (see below).
We will make every effort to have you in the exact room you`ve chosen. If unforeseeable circumstances make that impossible, we will substitute a room of equal or greater quality with an equal or greater number of bedrooms.
Low Season: During the low season we offer many rooms for one night. There is some Holidays during the winter time that has a min. night stay requirement.
Mid Season: Rooms require 2 night minimum stay during the weekends and 1 night during the week.
Peak/Holiday: Rooms require 2 night minimum stay. Some Holidays require a 3 night minimum stay. Please see rate chart for the desired room specific information on minimum night stays
Occupancy: By state law, occupancy may not exceed what is posted for each room. Local fire code does not allow anyone to sleep on the floor. Upon inspection if guest exceeds the agreed occupancy, they will be asked to leave without a refund.
Cribs: If you purchased a “crib” with your reservation please note that these are not full size, wooden cribs. They are smaller, more portable “pak-n-play” cribs. This is so they can be easily moved from room to room. Also, we will provide sheets and blankets for the crib
Smoking: All of our properties are smoke free.Smoking is only permitted in outdoor locations. State Law requires that all smoking must be at least 10 feet away from any windows and doors. Please respect other peoples vacations. If guest is unwilling to smoke 10 feet away from any window or doors, they will be asked to leave with no refund.
BBQsBlue Gull Inn: Gas BBQ located in the Courtyard
Inn at Haystack Rock: Gas BBQ located in the Courtyard
Inn at the Prom: Gas BBQ located next to the Soda/Ice Machine
Sand Castle Inn: Can use Blue Gull Inn BBQ across the street.
We provide daily service to all stay-overs which include removal of garbage, replacement of soiled towels on the ground in the bathroom and making of beds. If the bedding needs to be replaced during the stay then please contact office to make arrangements.
Pets: Pets are only allowed in specific Inns and require an additional fee. Sand Castle Inn is a pet friendly property. If you plan to bring your pet you must notify us in advance so we can make the proper arrangements. If guest brings a pet without notifying us and/or paying the additional fee, the guest will be charged 1 night’s rent to credit card on file and this may result in the immediate eviction of guest from the property and no refunds will be granted.
Onsite Laundry: We have onsite laundry located at the Blue Gull Inn between rooms 3 and 4. There is a soap and fabric softener sheet for sale in the laundry room. The machine takes quarters.
Kitchens: The kitchens are stocked with the basics based on the number of people room sleeps.
Linen: All rooms come fully stocked with linen on the beds and towels in the bathrooms. The number of towels is based on total beds in the room.
We provide onsite parking for 1 car per room. We provide parking permits at check-in. All other cars must be parked on side streets. Cars without parking permits will be towed at owners’ expense. We do not allow Boats, Trailers or RVs on the premises.
If you are unhappy with your room for any reason, please contact us immediately and we will make every effort to remedy the problem. Our first priority will be to fix any problems in your current unit. If we are unable to solve the problem, and if we deem (at our sole discretion) the problem to be of a serious nature, we will attempt to find an alternate property for you. Once you are offered an alternate property, no additional refunds or compensation of any kind will be offered. Choosing to remain at the original property signifies your satisfaction with it and thus we are unable to offer any discounts or refunds after the fact. Telling us about a problem at departure time will help us to fix the problem for the next guest, but we want a chance to remedy the problem for you!
